Vocals

The male death metal vocal is good. I was surprised when Clementine's voice came in. I actually very often hate when a woman's soft voice comes in pitted against a harsh male vocal. It just feels so stuck, but this works to me. Neither voice seems amazing here, but they really create an interesting feel together. I think this was a good idea for a different kind of song. The more I listen to it, the more I think if they always have this combo I probably would prefer to just have the male vocal, but nice to hear the combo once in a while.

Music

Lots of changes, some looping tech sections, places that slow it down, places that move forward. The solo part had an unexpected entrance at 3:11, and was short. There is enough variety for me.

Lyrics

There seems to be a need to end things. I think because humans suck. We are so full of imperfections and turn against each other. This song makes it seem like if you flip the right switch, life as we know it is done. Would you hit it? (I wouldn't, in case you are wondering.)
