What a young band, full of promise.

Vocals

I really appreciated this vocal. For a youngen, this is well done. It is my favourite part of this song!

Music

I found the music lasted too long for me to stay into it, and it isn't even that long of a song. So, maybe that second half was just too repetitive. I like that the pace changed up a few times. I was enjoying it until just after the guitar work.

Lyrics

I feel like I have heard similar themes in other songs, but this is decent. It is addressing the mind being captive to thoughts. I am sure you have had those things you obsess over in your mind. Maybe they even keep you up at night sometimes, or keep you from being focused during the day.

Beast has been awakened
Overtaking my mind

Obsession controls me
Brain has given in
Sleeps in through the cracks
