I prefer the more distorted vocal during the chorus to the congested sounding one during the verses.

Music

The pace and sound of this song creates a weird happy sound to a not so happy song. I don't always understand this kind of thing personally. A little too catchy for me. The guitar riffs are good and all.

Lyrics

I think these words are talking about how hard it is to deal with negativity and pain of others. I personally am drawn to want to help people and I hurt when other people hurt. But it reminds me of a time when I was dealing with serious depression, as a child. My childhood friend listened to me talk about how much I hated myself and how I didn't want to live, daily. Finally one day she told me to stop telling her this stuff. She told me she couldn't take it anymore. She told me to just kill myself if that is what I wanted to do. I had pushed her to the brink. She was done worrying.
