Vocals

This vocal is obviously talented but I am unsure about it. The vocal layering added to the atmosphere. Near the end - the screaming - was the best part, vocally, for me.

Music

The lead-in reminds me of an old movie, so it makes me think of nostalgia. Then it turns somewhat upbeat-sounding, which makes me question how this song will be. (I'm not much into upbeat, lol). But the layout stays in my head.

Lyrics

I like these lyrics. I am not sure who the person is that's talking, but it almost seems like a self-reflection. A hard moment when you have to decide to look at the truth. It can really hurt.

I have had some hard realizations. I am still working through it all. Sometimes, it is hard to be honest with yourself.

I think these lyrics are drawing me into this song.
