I actually like Mike's crooning low vocal, not so much the whispery crap.

Feels kinda like something from the 40's. Not a tonne of weight behind the music in this song.

Lyrics

The topic could be seen as weighty but knowing Mike and his creations, it is likely making fun of this idea. I think this is talking about a relationship where one person has basically been used. The person is so wrapped up in the relationship that they are going to take their life. Quite a terrible thing. Please don't take your life!
