I like the vocal. It feels like she knows her craft. I like that it stayed harsh.

Music

This song feels a lot more symphonic in parts than the few other songs I have heard by them (one is on my Playlist 1.0), but it has the more groovy pace that makes it feel like a good blend. The solo was a good showcase of talent, and stayed just long enough. It has a fantasy feel to it overall, but not in a cheesy way.

Lyrics

I think this is talking about how we generally are very self-focused. Social media is set up to showcase what is wonderful about us, and doesn't acknowledge the bad parts. We often live our lives tromping over other people to get what we want. In many ways we are willing to do whatever to get what we want.  

Nothing has highlighted these issues more than this pandemic.
