If this was all I had ever heard of Maynard I wouldn't have been grabbed in any way by it. Underwhelming . Sounds like a pop song, and the backing vocals just make it worse!

Feels like something that would be played at a dance club, that I never want to go to, ever! (I don't want to go to dance clubs anyways.) Yikes! Garbage!

Lyrics

I think these lyrics speak to someone who has been in a prestigious role. Maybe they enjoy the glory of it all, but over time they are realizing that if you have to shun others and think you are better, somehow maybe it isn't for them.
