Vocal
I feel like it is hard to stand out in this genre, vocally, but I really appreciated the vocal here. The nice deep growl, and the higher screech combo.
Music
A 19-minute song! The fact that I had times during this long song that didn't feel stale amazes me. I have little attention span. The first time it felt like it could be the end was about 6 minutes in, where I didn't care for the interlude. I was overwhelmed by the feeling like Ripley in Alien, waiting to blast the alien out the airlock. Another 9 minutes and then, again, an interlude that makes me feel like I am back on a spaceship. I think the pace is key here to a song this long, but that outro was unnecessarily long. The fact that I ended this song and it didn't feel 19 minutes says something.
Lyrics
I have to mention that the artwork is pretty cool. I think it goes well with the space kind of theme.
The occasional moment in the song that makes sense to me, but otherwise a wall of words that I am not sure about. These mentioned things are like the kryptonite to Superman, not good things. And I think the same can be said for the rest of the lyrics, harsh, hurtful things, that we are being led to like ants on a mission.
